There were some serious complication after what should have been a fairly routine surgical procedure. Needless to say we have been focused on that the last couple weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Today, finally, he has taken a turn for the better and there is some measurable improvement in his condition. It will still be some time before he&#8217;s back home but we&#8217;re hoping we&#8217;ll be out of ICU by the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll should be back to work on the site before too much longer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Librarian<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just a quick update on things here.
