{"id":1745,"date":"2024-06-27T07:38:14","date_gmt":"2024-06-27T11:38:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.survivorlibrary.com\/?p=1745"},"modified":"2024-07-04T12:06:51","modified_gmt":"2024-07-04T16:06:51","slug":"2024-06-27","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.survivorlibrary.com\/index.php\/2024\/06\/27\/2024-06-27\/","title":{"rendered":"2024-06-27"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">ELIMINATED REGISTRATION<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve spent several days dealing with snotty emails from the email service I use for the site due to the phony and bot registrations and spurious emails that cause lots of bounces which is bad for them.<\/p>\n<p>I have better things to do than deal with that kind of nonsense so, as I did with the old site, I&#8217;ve just eliminated the whole User Registration function entirely.<\/p>\n<p>For now I&#8217;ve left the Comment function on and I&#8217;ll still have to manually approve them to keep from being inundated with spam and junk.
