Sir Edward Grey once said (in relation to WWI) “The lamps are going out all over Europe. We shall not see them lit again in our lifetime.” (God help them if Europe succeeds in starting WWIII with Russia… the largest nuclear power inthe world.)
Fortunately the folks in Europe WILL get their lights back fairly soon… most likley. But the failure of much of the European Grid yesterday highlights the utter fragility of the modern power grid (especially when relying on “renewables” and the extreme impact that failure has on society.
People can’t even buy food in those reiopns which have gone cashless. You would think people would learn…. but they won’t.
