Surprisingly we actually did get about 4 inches of snow here in Hampstead. Usually this close to the shore the warmth from the Gulf Stream just off shore keeps it inland a ways. But by dusk today when it seems to have stopped coming down we got a nice little 3-4 inches. It’s all going to melt off over the next day or two.
The dogs are not amused. The cat is VERY not amused. Going to hate getting up in the morning and trudging out to clear off the crow feeder to put out the Purina Crow Chow and their Peanuts. Also have to sweep an area for the deer’s corn too. My wife can’t make the walk out there anymore but she enjoys watching them on the camera mounted out there.
Been spending more time helping her this past week since she’s feeling a bit poorly. But she seems to be pepping up a little today with some new medication. You do what you can and wish you could do more… but have to accept that you can’t.
